So, all the way back in September 2018, I competed for the second time in the Miss Mermaid UK Pageant, this time as Miss Mermaid Cheshire!
The rounds included
- Beachwear Round
- Eco Round
- Underwater Photoshoot
- Underwater Dynamic Swim
- Ballgown Round
For the Beachwear Round, I sported a cheeky yellow bikini with a black sarong and some aviator sunglasses!
For the Eco Round. I fashioned a hula skirt and mermaid bikini top out of recyclable materials, plastic bags, plastic containers and old wire, and the bikini top with shells I found on my local beach!
My underwater photoshoot with Paul Dale went really well and I tried out some backbend positions that no one had seen before!
For the dynamic swim, I am thrilled to announce that I was awarded the "Best in Water" title after swimming the longest distance underwater out of the competitors! This was the title I was really proud to win and the one I was most after!
For the Ballgown Round, I wore a stunning dress from Quiz Clothing and felt so elegant as I walked across the stage, I love dressing up!
I am so happy to say that I came away with a winning title and a secondary title!
On the night of the pageant, I was given the title of Miss Mermaid Wales to be sent to Egypt to represent the UK and compete in the Miss Mermaid International Pageant! I was so thrilled when they called my name!
Lots and Lots of preparation went underway to get us ready for the International competition ... Come on Team GB!
Until then my sweets!
